Here’s a good spot to sit and watch other people working. If you’re holding a camera in your hand, you can almost make yourself not feel guilty for not being down there in the hot sun with them.
It’s been so neat to watch some of the staff kids and their friends getting involved and hands-on with this building; learning things from older people. I always appreciate those people (like Phil here) who will take the time to help a young, inexperienced person learn a new skill. I get so impatient and just want to do things myself; I admire this kind of patient, working-together teaching moment.
View from the top of the monkey bars. Somebody left a big pile of dirt in the way.
View from the new parking lot – standing just below the playground gazebo.
This building is so big, it’s impossible to get a good picture of the whole thing.
