Our new building is starting to take on the look and feel of a basement. Which, technically, it is. We’re going to need lights in there!
For those of you who like to visualize the future landscape… That concrete strip with the rebar sticking out of it is the foundation for the retaining wall. It will slope up to the current height of the building. There will be a parking space (or two) right where Bruce and Dave are working against the building.
And now we’re ready for the pump truck to arrive at 7am tomorrow. Breakfast is at 6:30. The cooks (may they be eternally blessed) will be in the kitchen at 5:30. With the concrete crew, 10 concrete trucks coming and going, and a bunch of really great volunteer workers, this place is going to be hopping tomorrow!
